My story

What started as a small hobby over 23 years ago has grown into a deeply personal and meaningful journey. My passion for creating 2D hand casts began while working with children, but it was 11 years ago, after making a precious memory for a friend’s son before he sadly passed that I truly realised the impact of what I do. That moment ignited a dream, and ever since I have been dedicated to capturing irreplaceable memories for families, pet lovers, and those experiencing loss.
Over the years, I taught myself 3D casting, overcoming countless challenges and perfecting my craft. Each casting is unique, each moment special, and I continue to learn with every piece I create. While I never imagined working in bereavement, life led me to it. At first, the idea of casting for a loved one who had passed felt overwhelming, but after being asked by a grieving family, I knew I couldn’t say no. What started as a difficult experience became an incredible honor, of bringing comfort to families through something they can hold forever!
Now, with the support of my amazing community, local funeral services, and Forget Me Not Children's Hospice, I’ve built a space where memories are made with care, compassion, and love. Three years ago in 2022, I took the leap to go fully self-employed, allowing me to be there when families need me most. From beautiful castings to custom memorial jewellery, I offer a range of tactile keepsakes that bring comfort in both joyful moments and times of loss.

I am truly grateful for every family that trusts me to create something so personal. Working in my little workshop in Mytholmroyd and only using local businesses for my outsourcing , I pour my heart into every piece, knowing that these creations hold deep meaning.
Though I only work within the Calderdale area (partly because I’m a terrible driver!), my dedication to my craft and my community is unwavering, and I have such a good team of local businesses supporting me to make your memories the best they can be.
Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your story.
