Family casts

Families often ask if it's possible to combine casts together, and it certainly is! Once a loved one's hand cast is created and completed, I welcome family members to visit my studio to further create casts of their hands holding the previosuly created loved one cast.

Family members can be cast around their loved one once the original cast has dried. This can be carried out at a later date but must be completed before the original cast has been painted.

For both 2D and 3D casts, if your loved one has been cremated there is the opportunity to add a little of your loved one's ashes into the casting. If you have chosen a burial, hair can be added into the casting. Adding ashes or hair into the cast will be £15 and they will need to be brought for the final casting. You also have the option to add an oak plinth to your cast with a personal message hand burnt using pyrography.

Single hand - £140

2 hands cast - £220

3 hands cast - £300

4 hands cast - £380

Ashes/hair added to casting - £15

Personalised message plinths - £25-£45

2D casts can be acheived in the coffin

3D casts have to be pre coffin. 

Short nails are preffefed when casting, long nails can brake when removing casts from the mold.
